Monday has arrived with all the grace of a drunk giraffe on roller skates. That's also how I entered my kitchen this morning: I opened the fridge. Closed the fridge. Opened it again like something magical would appear. It didn't. Unless you count that leftover Chinese food that's evolved into a new life form. I'm pretty sure it winked at me. I ate it anyway. THE BATMAN PART II DELAYED TO 2027 BECAUSE DEADLINES ARE SUGGESTIONS NOW
The Batman Part II won't start filming until spring 2026 for an October 1, 2027 release.
That's two years from now. My goldfish could evolve legs by then.
Matt Reeves says they're "perfecting the script." The script he completed in June 2025. It's October now. What are they perfecting? The font? The margins? Are they hand-calligraphing each copy on parchment???
James Gunn defended the delays saying it took seven years between Alien and Aliens. Yeah, and it took me seven years to reply to that "u up?" text from someone I met at a Chili's bar in 2018. She’s probably married with kids now. I finally wrote back "yeah, what's good?" last week. No response. Point is, seven years doesn't make it okay, James.

A QUIET PLACE 3 MOVED BECAUSE IT'S SCARED OF SUPERMAN
A Quiet Place Part III shifted from July 9 to July 30, 2027 to avoid fighting Superman.
Smart. I would also avoid fighting Superman. And regular people. And confrontation in general. I once apologized to a mannequin for bumping into it. The mannequin didn't respond. Still felt better.

Marvel announced 26 cast members for Avengers: Doomsday but not Ruffalo because he'd "reveal the end of the movie."
He talked about it on Fallon like it was funny. It is funny. But also sad. Like when you're not invited to something and pretend you didn't want to go anyway. "Oh that cast announcement? Didn't want to be in it. I was busy. Doing... things. Important things. Alone."
Rumors say he's in both Doomsday and Secret Wars anyway. So he's in the movies just not the announcement about the movies.
